A: Establishing business relations is the first step in a transaction in international trade. You may approach the new counterparts in China or obtain necessary information through the following channels:
1)Attendance at all kinds of commodities fairs and exhibitions, such as Chinese Export Commodities Fair, also called Canton Fair, which is held twice a year in Spring and Autumn since it was inaugurated in the Spring of 1957, and is regarded as China's largest trade fair of the highest level;
2)Visit China by trade groups or delegations. We have successfully received many delegations from Africa, and arranged meetings for them with the economic commercial committees, chambers of commerce and enterprise associations, meanwhile arranged their visits to factories. So please feel free to contact us if you have the plan of visit China.
3)Search related information from Internet. You can visit the main e-commerce platform for Chinese products such as “Alibaba.com”, the 8848 net and China Commodity net.
4) By the introduction of your Chinese friends. First you must write a letter to establish business relations. The Main Content of the Letter are including <1> Refer to the ways to obtain the addressee’s name and address; <2> Indicate clearly the intention of the letter; <3> Introduce the scope of business briefly; <4> Express the hope for future business relations.
5) Participate in the “2008 Africa Business and Investment Forum & African Experts Seminar” held by us in Wenzhou and Yiwu City in China on April 12th – 14th 2008.
Of all these channels, you can get the information of many Chinese enterprises and then establish trade relationship with them.
