China International Equipment Manufacturing Exposition ( CIEME 2008)
The Largest Manufacturing Show in Northeast China

China International Equipment Manufacturing Exposition (CIEME) is a state-approved exposition which is sponsored by The Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, State Council's Office of the Leading Group of Revitalization Northeast China and Other Old Industrial Bases, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and Liaoning Provincial People's Government. It is jointly organized by Shenyang Municipal People's Government, CCPIT Liaoning Sub-Council, Shenyang Renaissance International Exhibition Co., Ltd. etc. CIEME will be held annually in the fall in Shenyang.

CIEME has been held for six successful sessions since its first event in 2002. The former six CIEME have a total of 311,000 sqm of exhibition area, whereby 15,156 exhibition booths were set up for 3,964 exhibitors, 1,342 among whom from 23 nations and regions. CIEME, coming from the background of rejuvenation of Northeast old industrial bases, has gained high tribute from national government agencies and strong response from both oversea and domestic manufacturing industry. CIEME is the window not only for the world to know China, but also for China to enter to the world.

CIEME 2008 is scheduled to be held from 1-5 Sept. 2008 in Shenyang International Exhibition Centre. CIEME 2008 will focus on the following contents: CNC, metal cutting euiqpment, aviation and aerospace technology euipment and accessories, industry automation, special and general equipment. CIEME will fully show and introduce the most advanced manufacturing technology and the newest developed achievements from home and abroad, further promote the professional and modernization level of CIEME. CIEME 2008 will further strengthen the international cooperation, further invite and organize oversea sorporations. The world-known corporations and high technologh products will beyond than ever before.

CIEME 2008 will be the platform for products display and purchasing. Plentiful events will be held, ‘Internatinal Equipment Manufacturing CEO Summit Forum’, Purchasing and Ordering Meeting of Equipment Manufacturing Products and accessories; etc.

State Council's policy, on revitalization of equipment manufacturing, provides strong support to the development of manufacturing equipment. China has a big demand for manufacturing equipment as the rapid economic development during the 11th Five-Year Plan. CIEME has more development room and opportunities to seek cooperation partners and to create business opportunities for businessmen at home and abroad. CIEME will emphasize its role to serve for the revival of traditional industrial bases, and build a professional and international platform for presentation, exchange and trading in manufacturing industry.
